There are a lot of things in life that we can’t control like the stormy weather, people who are homeless and abused cats and dogs. These are all things that I think about and wonder how I can make it better. When I’m feeling hopeless, there is one thing that makes me feel better. I know that when I earn money through my lemonade business, I can donate it to charities that I know will really make a difference. The Lemonade Baristas will be selling Lemonade to raise money for Louisville City FC this year.
Lemonade Day is more than just selling lemonade; it is learning new skills that you can use in any business. Lemonade Day is investing in myself. Lemonade Day is taking one small step toward a goal and then building on it one small step at a time. Lemonade Day is meeting wonderful new people, earning money and sharing with others. Lemonade Day is FUN!
I am really thankful that we have Lemonade Day in Louisville. This has been a great experience and I am excited about all of the opportunities to keep expanding our business. I hope that all kids take the time to participate in Lemonade Day. If you don’t have a Lemonade Day near you, I hope that you start one yourself. Everyone deserves to learn how to successfully run their own business!
